In other news, there is
now an RSS
Bandit Wiki complete with discussion
forum [which shouldn't require a login].
In other, other news I see the
future plans for SharpReader are biting
features from RSS Bandit. As
someone once saidIt's just nice to see
other aggregators now copying one of my features
for a change. Imitation is, after all, the
sincerest form of flattery.
Anyway, I've seen
some complaints about RSS Bandit perf and I'm
quite pleased that this is the only issue people
seem to have. Perf is always easy to fix since you
just turn the knob on your Space vs. Time dial.
Once I have my plan for a generic caching framework
figured out a lot of perf issues should vanish on
my end. Of course, I could have just written a
quick hack to get the ball rolling but since I
don't plan to have RSS Bandit on MSDN for at least
another three months I have time to fix this before
a more widespread release.
